Audrey Tautou

Audrey Tautou is the youngest of four children born August 9, 1976, within Beaumont Puy of Domme. The parents of Audrey Tautou, dentists and a school teacher, helped and encouraged her in her initial love for drama and theatre. It was her initial desire to be a monkey expert was surpassed by her desire to learn about drama and theater. When she was a teenager rising to the heights of fame was quick and filled with first-time achievement. When she graduated in 1998, her education, she was able to take part in Jeunes Premiers which is an French television talent-scouting program that was sponsored by Canal+. She also received the award for Best Young Actress prize at the Beziers Festival of Young Actors. The experience led her to start her acting career professionally. Tautou was educated at The Institut Catholique de Paris, in addition to attending church as an early girl. However she has now left the church. She claims that she's not necessarily Catholic. She pursued a modelling career as well as acting and is the model for L'Oreal Mont Blanc and Chanel sometimes referred to as the Chanel Muse. As well as her acting career She also takes an interest in photography. She recently exhibited some photos during Arles Film Festival. Arles Film Festival with the name Superficial. Her photography largely focuses on celebrities and their fame. She also is focused towards the reporters who sat on her after her meteoric popularity with Amelie and self-portraits. Audrey Tautou shot to stardom as well as international recognition with her first major role starring as the lead in the film Le Fabuleux Destin de l'Amelie Poulain. Amelie has been a box office hit internationally and was recognized by numerous international awards ceremonies. The film is still one of the top-performing French language film in the US. In the wake of this achievement, Tautou was featured in a wide range of films from British dramatics such as Stephen Knight's Dirty Pretty Things to Jean-Pierre Jeunet's long-distance Sunday of fiancailles and moving into Hollywood with Ron Howard's direction of The Da Vinci Code, a Dan Brown bestseller The Da Vinci Code together with Tom Hanks.
